Did you know that a mortgage valuation report
is essentially written for the lenders benefit to
assess whether the property they are lending on provides
suitable security for their money? Whilst we undertake this
work for lenders our Chartered surveyors and trained staff
also have the experience to guide you to the appropriate

the survey inspection while carrying out the mortgage valuation

Buying a Home

A Building Survey
is a detailed report prepared from a comprehensive inspection
of the property highlighting its condition, generally relative
to its age and type. It will advise of defects and remedies
and the report can be tailored to your own requirements.
It is suitable for all types of property (except flats).
A Homebuyer Survey
and Valuation is a concise report in a standard format
to provide a cost effective service highlighting urgent
and significant matters as a result of a general surface
inspection of the readily accessible parts of a property.
It is intended for use only for properties of conventional
type and construction which are apparently in a reasonable
condition and for flats which form only part of larger buildings.
The report will provide you with an opinion of value and
a sum which you should place the property on Insurance cover.
